PREPARING PANCAKES

1.
Close the appliance, plug the plug into an electrical outlet (220-240 V~,
50 Hz). The red operating indicator light is illuminated and shows that the
heating circuit is in operation.
2.
Wait until the green indicator light is illuminated. This takes approx. 3 to 5
minutes. Open the appliance.
3.
Now ladle the batter into the two lower batter recesses with a sauce ladle.
ƒ For small pancakes use approx. 30 ml of batter (1 sauce ladle full per bat-
ter recess)
ƒ For medium-sized and large pancakes use approx. 60 ml of batter (2 sauce
ladles full per batter recess)
4.
If necessary distribute the batter with a plastic spatula. Always ensure that
you correctly dose the amount of batter. If you use too little batter the upper
part of the appliance will not sit correctly. If you use too much batter the
excess dough will overflow and adhere on the appliance and the counter-top.
Attention: Always ladle batter into both batter recesses to prevent appliance
damage!
5.
After adding the batter, close the appliance immediately so that the pan-
cakes brown uniformly on the top and bottom. Tip: At the start of the baking
process, the appliance should not be opened for approx. 2 minutes, other-
wise the pancakes can fall apart and adhere to the baking plates.
6.
A few seconds after you have ladled in the batter, the green function indi-
cator light will light up again. The appliance is heated, the baking process
starts.
Attention: The appliance lid is extremely hot! When closing the lid hot
steam can escape from the appliance.
7.
Select the desired temperature level with the temperature controller. Use the
variable adjustable temperature controller to determine the desired brown-
ing. At the low setting you get lighter pancakes, at the high setting you get
darker pancakes. In between all degrees of browning can be variably set.
8.
The baking process takes approx. 3 to 6 minutes. The bake time of the pan-
cakes depends on the batter used and your personal taste. Consequently,
before removing the pancakes, pleas check whether they have reached your
preferred browning.
9.
When the baking process is concluded, the green function indicator light
goes out.
