Understanding Special Display Messages
Special messages may appear on the display screen during use to report a
low battery condition or other operational conditions that require attention.
Low Battery: When the device determines the battery is approaching the
end of its usable charge, the device will continue to operate but the battery
icon on the main display screen will flash and audible beep will sound.
When this occurs, recharge the battery or replace it with a freshly charged
battery.
Open (circuit): An "Open" circuit message will be displayed and an
audible beep will sound if 1) the lead wire is disconnected from the
generator ("Open" does not flash in this case) or 2) an electrode either
loses skin contact or the wire is disconnected ("Open" will flash in these
cases).
Advance Device Functions
The BioniCare Generator has data recording and Bluetooth communication
capabilities to allow it to capture patient data input and transmit it auto-
matically to the BioniCare website. The patient can then access the website
to see their progress. For information and instructions for the website, go to
