PROGRAMMING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL ON SOMFY

3.2 Programming on a Somfy roller shutter or hinged shutter drive
You must first have commissioned your shutter drive. Before any programming, the end limits for your
motor must have been set (refer to the instructions for the motor or contact Somfy assistance). Check the

Programming a remote control
1. Identify the original shutter control, i.e. the remote control or control point which only controls this shutter.
- If the original control is lost or broken and it is the only one that controls the roller shutter, contact Somfy
assistance.
- If another control operates the roller shutter, use that to follow the steps below.

Partially open the shutter using the original control.
3. Press the PROG button on the original control until the shutter makes an up and down movement.
The programming function is activated for 2 minutes.
4. Press the channel selection button as many times as necessary until the indicator lights show the channel to
be programmed.
5. Use a fine-tipped object to make a short press on the PROG button on the back of the remote control to be added.
The shutter moves up and down.
