Cleaning and maintenance

Always disconnect the mains adapters from the wall power socket before
cleaning the unit. Only use a slightly dampened cloth. Do not submerge the
unit in water. Do not use chemical detergents.
Remove the batteries from the unit if it is not to be used for a long period
of time.
This product does not require any special maintenance. Repairs to the unit
must be carried out by skilled personnel only.

Possible cause
• The unit is not switched on.
• The mains adapter of the transmitter/recei-
ver is not (properly) connected or the power
socket is not working.
• The batteries are flat/incorrectly inserted.
• Power adapter is connected and the batte-
ries are charging in the unit.
• Batteries are flat.
• Batteries are charging.
• The maximum range has been exceeded.
• The baby unit is not switched on.
• Baby monitor is in ECO mode and baby unit is
in sleep mode (and thus does not transmit any
signals to the parent unit).
• Volume is switched off.
• The selected/set microphone sensitivity level
is too low.
• The baby unit is too close to the parent unit.
Action
• Make sure that both units are switched on.
• Check the connection of the mains adapter to
the wall power socket and the unit.
• Replace/charge the batteries and check their
polarity.
• No action required.
• Replace/charge the batteries or connect the
unit to the power supply.
• No action required.
• Reduce the distance between the baby unit
and the parent unit.
• Ensure that the baby unit is switched on.
• Briefly set the baby unit to "range alarm" until
the connection has been established or force
a signal transfer by making noises at the baby
unit.
• Ensure that the volume has not been turned
down all the way, press the
key on the
parent unit several times.
• Switch the microphone sensitivity to "HI".
• Increase the distance between the baby unit
and the parent unit.
