WOPU series - SINGLE COIL:
Chilled water units. Those units use chilled water from a liquid chiller as heat carrier fluid.
Through an internal modulation valve that can be 3-way, 2-way or latest generation with
the integrated "balancing" function, the flow of liquid is controlled through the unit's water
coil.
The fan module, normally configured "fully open" for installation under the raised floor, can
be provided with panels for installation above the raise floor (BFM).
DOPU series - DUAL COIL:
The units are equipped with two cooling circuits, both running on chilled water and both
operating separately. These circuits are connected to 2 independent liquid chillers pre-
sent on site. This type of unit is especially suited for systems requiring RELIABILITY, DATA
PROTECTION and REDUNDANCY of the air-conditioning system (in compliance with the
TIER reliability and redundancy criteria defined by the Uptime Institute). These units are
characterised by the presence of a chilled water coil with two independent and interlaced
circuits, which can be used alternately or simultaneously. There are various possible sce-
narios depending on the customer's needs.
Single operation, both circuits connected to two different chilled water sources. In this
case there will be a primary circuit and a secondary emergency circuit, identical in power,
which can be switched from one to another in case of alarm. In this case the two liquid
chillers implement an N+1 active redundancy policy. The switching occurs automatically
based on temperature, or manually based on digital input.
Parallel operation, both circuits operate simultaneously in a specular manner by following
exactly the same regulation ramp. Sequential operation, the second circuit is activated
and modulation starts only after the first circuit has reached its maximum capacity.
