General Description:
WOPU-DOPU precision air conditioners have to be considered as the most advanced solution for air conditioning of next-generation data
centres and technological applications, as server farms, UMTS and GSM broadcasting power amplifiers, NOC (Network Operation Cen-
tres), computer racks cooling, control rooms, power equipment, EDGE COMPUTING, and in general wherever heat loads are critically high.
These categories of precision air conditioners are characterised by a particular "architecture" based on the combination of two separate
modules, a cooling module that includes a high heat exchange coil, the electrical board, the modulation valve, the filtering section and a
module dedicated to the ventilating section designed for underfloor installation. These units have been designed with the aim of maximis-
ing cooling capacity, energy efficiency and ensuring high reliability even in the most critical applications.
The self-containing frame with hinged front panels enables them to be fully removed in order to minimise the weight during installation
and ensure maximum accessibility to the components during commissioning and maintenance operations. The panelling and insulation
used ensure excellent levels of safety and silent operation.
In precision applications, the load generated by the equipment is mainly "sensible" and input humidity inside the room is usually very low.
Having this in mind, we design our air conditioners to supply an extremely high heat ratio (SHR), increasing overall system efficiency.
Server and computer rooms are constantly expanding, so air conditioners have to be flexible into satisfying needs, in this respect, the
preparation for the installation of all accessories is already planned, reserving the right for the Customer to install further accessories at
any time after the purchase. Our air conditioners are highly reliable; nevertheless a good designing practice must assume some downtime.
All systems have to be designed having in mind air conditioning redundancy, in order to supply continuous cooling during programmed
maintenance. All our air conditioners are already set up for the creation of LAN networks featuring up to 10 units with Master/Slave logic
and control of several units in stand-by; also, other functions have been included to ensure continuity of service even in the event of
emergency situations (e.g. double power supply option, dual coil unit, etc.) making our units particularly suitable for use in data centres
designed in compliance with TIER classifications (Uptime Institute).
