8.2 Putting VT50WiFi into operation
➤ Activate the wireless reception of your receiving device.
➤ Switch the vehicle ignition on.
➤ Engage the reverse gear of the vehicle.
✓ The transmitter is operational about six seconds after putting the vehicle into reverse gear. The
operating display (fig. 2 5page 3) lights up permanently in red on the transmitter.
➤ Connect your receiving device to the wireless network of the transmitter.

NOTE
The name and the password of the wireless network can be found on the transmitter.
➤ Start the app on your receiving device.
✓ The receiving device displays the camera image.

Fault
The receiving device can-
not find the transmitter's
wireless network.
The transmitter's operat-
ing display does not light
up.
The app on the receiving
device has a black
screen.
The receiving device cuts
off during image play-
back.

Warranty

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the addresses) or
your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when you send in the
device:

A copy of the receipt with purchasing date

A reason for the claim or description of the fault

Suggested remedy
Check the power supply.
Check whether the app responds:
Open the menu.
Check the transmitter connection and
function.
Adjust the location of the transmitter by
a few centimetres.
