Selecting the waveband ( Band)/
memory bank
This device can be used to receive stations
in the FM and AM frequency bands. 3 mem-
ory banks (FM1, FM2 and FMT) are avail-
able for the FM waveband and 2 memory
banks (AM and AMT) for the AM waveband.
Six stations can be stored in each memory
bank.
To switch between the wavebands FM and
AM,

press the BAND button ?.
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.

Press the softkey "Band" 7 in FM
mode or 6 in AM mode.
The "Band" menu for the selection of the
waveband is displayed.

Press the softkey "FM" 6 or "AM" 7.
The radio changes to the selected wave-
band.
To switch between the memory banks FM1,
FM2 and FMT in the FM waveband or be-
tween AM and AMT in the AM waveband,

press the NEXT button 2.
Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a sta-
tion.
Automatic station seek tuning

You can also tune into stations manually.
To change the set frequency in small incre-

Adjusting the sensitivity of the
station seek tuning (Sensitivity)
You can choose whether the radio should
only tune into stations providing good re-
ception or whether it can also tune into
those with a weak reception. The sensitivity
can be adjusted from 1 (low) to 6 (high).

Press the BAND button ?.
The display shows the fi rst page of the
"Tuner" menu.

Change to the second page of the
"Tuner" menu by pressing the NEXT
button 2.
u
Press the softkey "Sensitivity" 8 re-
peatedly until the desired sensitivity
level is displayed behind "Sensitivity".
