Fault
Pump operation is not functioning.
Pump fault during operation.
Flow test has failed.
Horn is too quiet.
Optical alarm signals not visible or
poorly visible.
Life signal is not functioning.
Gas detection instrument not
detected.
Dräger X-am 5000 switches off
quickly; no power supply.
Device defect displayed.
Cause
Incorrect holder (diffusion) in
position.
Condensate formation with cold and
damp intake air.
Pump outside the specified range.
Flow test has not been performed.
Holder (pump) is not correctly
positioned.
Volume is set too low.
Configuration or pattern incorrectly
set.
Configuration is set incorrectly.
IR interface dirty.
Incompatible gas detection
instrument.
Incorrect software version in the gas
detection instrument.
IR interface faulty, clip on gas
detection instrument not correctly
positioned.
Holder is not correctly positioned.
Power contacts dirty or damp.
Dräger X-am 5000 moved away
from Dräger X-zone 5000 during
operation.
Remedy
Position the holder (pump).
Use hose set with water trap
(order no. 83 21 527).
Have the pump checked by Dräger.
Perform flow test, repeat if
necessary.
Re-position holder (pump) and
check that it is correctly fitted.
Set the volume using the Dräger
CC-Vision PC software (refer to
"Configuring the device" on
page 39).
Configure the optical alarm signals
using the Dräger CC-Vision PC
software (refer to "Configuring the
device" on page 39).
Configure the life signal using
the Dräger CC-Vision PC software
(refer to "Configuring the device" on
page 39).
Clean IR interface.
Use Dräger X-am 5000.
Have a software update performed
by Dräger.
Close clip on Dräger X-am 5000.
Re-position holder and check that
it is correctly fitted.
Clean power contacts.
Acknowledge alarm on
Dräger X-zone 5000, switch off
Dräger X-zone 5000.
