• When installing the electrode cable, make sure there are no tight
angles or kinks.
• Please note that the cable travel of the Transducers is limited. To
prevent excessive strain on the Transducer, make sure the har-
ness is correctly fit and accomodates the patient's movements.
• Instruct the patient in the correct use of the Transducer (see
chapter 3 "Patient Information").
• The product and any damaged components may only be opened
and/or repaired by certified Ottobock Myo-Service technicians.

3 Patient Information

• Do not increase your tension on the cable once you have felt the
cable come to a stop within the Transducer.
• Handle the Transducer with care and check the product regularly
for damages (e.g. cracks or breakage). Should the Transducer
be damaged or not function properly, please contact your Ot-
tobock Service facility.
• Driving a vehicle or operating machinery is strictly prohibited while
wearing a provisional socket fitted with a Transducer.
• Make sure that neither dirt nor fluids penetrate the Transducer.
Do not expose the Transducer to intensive smoke or dust or to
mechanic vibrations or shocks or high temperatures.
These products may not be disposed of with household waste
in some jurisdictions. Disposal that is not in accordance with
the regulations of your country may have a detrimental impact
on health and the environment. Please observe the information
provided by the responsible authorities in your country regarding
return and collection processes.
