Safety information for operation
CAUTION
Do not cover or seal the air vents of the medical
device. Ensure that air may freely enter. The
medical device can otherwise overheat.
CAUTION
Avoid heat sources, e.g., solar radiation, radiant
heaters, or spotlights! The medical device can
otherwise overheat.
CAUTION
Prevent pollution of room air! Operate only in well
ventilated surroundings! The compressor draws
in air from the room. Any pollutants in the air
would reach the patient.
NOTE
Do not operate the compressor in salty air as this
may cause the non-return valves in the
compressor to corrode.
If the compressor has been stored at temperatures
below 3 °C (38 °F):
Wait approx. 2 hours for the compressor to
warm up.

Switching on the compressor
A
1 Press the On/Off switch (A) on the rear (position
(on)). Always leave devices with standby
mode switched on.
The green LED
(B) on the front lights up.
2 Switch on the connected ventilator.
Refer to "Troubleshooting" on page 28 if any faults
develop.
