Prepare Unit – Insert Battery
Remove the belt clip (pull spring and remove to top) and open the battery compartment.

Insert one of the supplied battery packs (or 4 x AAA
single NiMH cells) in each unit (packed separately).
Carefully pay attention to insert the single cells
in the direction indicated inside the battery
housing.
The battery pack has an arrow on it to indicate the
direction in which to insert.
Please connect each charger with one of the 230
V power adapters to the 230V wall outlet.
Before the first use please charge each unit for
several hours (new batteries are only partly
charged ex factory and need to be charged and
used 2-3 x before they reach their full capacity).
Note: Never open or dismantle a sealed battery
pack!
Alternatively you may insert commercially available
AAA alkaline batteries (4 units) or 4 single
rechargeable AAA size Ni-MH batteries.
DO NOT charge alkaline batteries, never place
the transceiver in the charger when using
alkaline batteries. Do not mix rechargeable and
normal batteries!
The chargers will need up to 12 hours for full
charge. The LED will be constantly red during
