Reinstallthe foamelementand thenthe paperelementon the air
cleanerbody.

Reinstallthe aircleanercaseontheaircleanerbodybyfirstfittingthe
projection(A) on the edgeof the air cleanercase intothe slit (B)
in theair cleanerbody.See Figure15.
3.
Slidingthefasteners(C)towardtheaircleanercase,securelyfasten
togetherthe case and air cleanerbody.
After servicingthe air cleaner,be sureall the removedparts are
reinstalledproperlyin place.Failuretosecurelyfastentogetherair
cleanercase and air cleanerbody maycausedirt or otherforeign
materialsto enterthe enginewhileit is running,resultingin engine
troublesor failures.

Checkoil levelbeforeeachoperation.Be sureoil levelis maintained.

Removeoil fill dipstickand wipe cleanwith cloth.
2.
Replacedipstick withoutscrewingit in. Removeand checkoil
level.Levelshouldbe at FULLmark.

If needed,add oil slowly- recheck.Do notoverfill.
4.
Installand tightendipstick.
Do not overfill.Overfillingwith oil maycause theengineto notstart,
hard starting,or engine smoking.If overthe FULLmarkon the

To Drain Oil

Tip the mower,keepingthe mufflersidedown.
4.
Removethe dipstickfrom the engineand pour entireoil contents
from thecrank case intoan appropriatecontainer.
5.
Putthe mowerback to its operatingposition(on all fourwheels).
6.
Refillwith approximately 18 oz. of freshoil. Fillto FULLline on
