5.4 INTAKE GUIDE CONTROL

The intake guide adjustment is explained earlier in this ma-
nual, in section 5.2.1: Edge selection and assembly.

5.5 SCRAPER CONTROL

The function of the scrapers is to remove the remains of glue
that may remain following the trimming.

The scraper height is automatically adjusted when the feeder
height is adjusted (see section 5.3.2).
You may adjust or remove the scrapers in the following man-
ner:
To adjust them, turn knob A until scraper B lightly brushes
against the board, removing any traces of glue and smoo-
thing the joint between the board and the edge.
To adjust the bottom scraper, open front door C and proceed
in the same manner.
If you wish to remove the scrapers, simply adjust them so that

they are positioned above and below the board, respectively.
