7.7 GENERAL CLEANING
Eliminate the pressure from the installa-
tion by disconnecting the safety valve and
locking it with a padlock, then setting the
main switch to 0 (zero), locking it with a
padlock.
Before cleaning, make sure that all parts
are cool.
After each operating cycle, carefully clean the machine
and all its parts, vacuuming any shavings and dust.
Use compressed air only when it is truly necessary, wea-
ring protective goggles and a face mask.
Keep the machine clean, removing any glue build-up
from the following parts (Fig.75):
A – Sliding table
B – Pressure rollers
C- Gluing roller and pressure rollers.
D – Reel cutting blades
E – Edge trimming blades
F – Profiling machine bits
G - Copiers
H – Scraper blades

To deep-clean the edge guide J (Fig. 75), or to remove a
piece of edge that has become adhered to it, the machine
must be disassembled as explained in section 7.4.1.
After cleaning, protect the reel cutting blades D, the
edge trimmer blades E, the profiling machine bits G and
the scraper blades H with CANTSPRAY, a silicone-free
anti-stick spray that prevents the glue from adhering to
the cutting parts.
Ask your glue supplier about the type of product to use
for cleaning. Always wear a face mask when using it.
