Toyota Denso 1 - Hilux 3.0 System
Important: Each Common Rail System has its particularities. During tests,
some systems might reach pressures above 2000 bar and activate the
safety valve. Others, due to the construction of the system, might not go
beyond 1000 bar. Therefore, do not compare test values of different
systems.
Acceleration test
This test aims at checking the capacity of the system in order to generate
pressure during acceleration (by simulating operation under load).
Attention: With some systems, as Toyota Denso 1 - Hilux 3.0, it is not
possible to accomplish an acceleration test, because with a TM 558
installed, the system enters into an emergency state during the
acceleration. Consequently, a fault code is generated in the injection
system, and must be erased so that the system starts working normally
again.
