2.3 Maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments on the mechanical parts of the equipment, put
on heavy-duty work shoes, protective gloves and goggles.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is
to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices shall be
activated as soon as the maintenance operations have been completed.
•
Before any maintenance operations or mechanical adjustments are carried-out, switch the tool off.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at one of the Manufacturer's Authorized
Service Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized by the
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
-
work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.

SPECIFICATION
3.1 Product identification
The tool identification details are indicated on the CE sticker (1).
3.2 Product description
POWER MOTOR unit is operated by a two or four stroke engine, producing a rotatory motion which is reduced by an epicyclic
gearbox.
On the body there is a clamp connection for the fixed or telescopic extension pole assembly, which transmits motion to the
harvesting head. The power unit together with an extension pole and a harvesting head is used for olives and other kinds of
fruit.

3.4 Recommended use
The tool was manufactured to be used according to the ways and limits previously described.
3.4.1 Tool transport
•
Always switch the engine off (3).
•
Carry the tool keeping it balanced. Hold it by the extension pole and the shoulder strap (9).
•
When transporting it in a vehicle, fasten it in order to avoid any overturning and damaging and any fuel outcoming.
•
When the tool is not used, put it in a safe place.
