When using the equipment, a few safety pre-
cautions must be observed to avoid injuries and
damage. Please read the complete operating
instructions and safety regulations with due care.
Keep this manual in a safe place, so that the in-
formation is available at all times. If you give the
equipment to any other person, hand over these
operating instructions and safety regulations as
well. We cannot accept any liability for damage
or accidents which arise due to a failure to follow
these instructions and the safety instructions.

1. Safety regulations

Any errors made in following the safety regula-
tions and instructions may result in an electric
shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety regulations and instructions
in a safe place for future use.
General notes
1. Read the directions with due care. Familiarize
yourself with the settings and with the proper
use of the attachment.
2. Also be sure to observe the safety instruc-
tions and the operating instructions of the
basic unit required for operation.
3. If you give the equipment to any other person,
give them these operating instructions as
well.
Preliminary measures
1. Wear non-slip shoes when clearing snow.
2. Prior to using the equipment, visually inspect
it to ensure that the clearing blade, skids and
the mounting bolts of the snow plow blade
are in good working order (i.e. not worn out or
damaged).
Handling
1. Make sure that the snow plow blade is moun-
ted in accordance with the operating instruc-
tions.
2. When using the snow plow with snow chains
observe the information supplied by the ma-
nufacturer and ensure suffi cient clearance
between the machine components.
3. When swiveling the snow plow blade, look out
for crushing and shearing points.
4. The working speed must be adjusted to the
relevant work conditions.

Maintenance and storage
1. Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened securely and that the equipment is
in a safe working condition.
2. For your own safety, replace worn or dama-
ged parts without delay.
