Any other faults are largely technical in nature and must be checked and resolved by PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
cause
1.
Lack of external power or one phase missing.
2.
Fuses F3 – F4 blown in the electrical system (see electrical circuit diagram No. 652960)
3.
Fuses F1 – F2 blown on the board (see electrical circuit diagram No. 652961)
1.
The board has lost the calibration data set in the factory.
2.
One or more calibration stages (configuration, gauge calibration, basic calibration) has not been carried
out.
1.
The working memory of the electronic board is corrupted.
1.
When starting up (START button pressed or wheel guard lowered) the wheel was turning in reverse.
2.
Motor phases reversed.
1.
The motor is unable to achieve the required speed for effective balancing.
2.
Electrical malfunction.
3.
Electronic board fault.
1.
The wheel guard has not been lowered.
2.
Guard microswitch broken (see electrical circuit diagram No. 652960)
1.
Fault in the position sensors in the optoelectronics.
2.
The motor is not rotating.
3.
For pneumatic machines (P), the wheel locking system is open.
1.
Fault in the zero passage reader in the optoelectronics.
2.
The motor is not rotating.
3.
For pneumatic machines (P), the wheel locking system is open.
1.
The guard cover was raised before the completion of measuring.
1.
The brake pedal was pushed during measuring.
2.
The motor rotation speed is not constant.
1.
The electronic board has registered a dangerous condition associated with the excessive speed of the
wheel during a period of machine inactivity (the shaft rotating at high speed without the operator
activating START). The electrical power system is disabled.
1.
Wheel data not set.
1.
Weight outside the adjustment range (the weight necessary to balance the wheel is greater than 250
grams)
1.
The calibration weight has not been fixed to the wheel.
1.
The left pick-up is not correctly connected , is faulty, or has a broken wire.
1.
The right pick-up is not correctly connected , is faulty, or has a broken wire.
1.
The phase difference between the 2 pick-ups is excessive.
1.
Invalid signals from the optoelectronics
ENGLISH
1.
Check that the phases and neutral are connected to the machine.
2.
Replace fuses F3 and/or F4 (the reblowing of fuses implies that there is a fault in the electrical system)
3.
Replace fuses F1 and/or F2 (the reblowing of fuses implies that there is a fault in the electrical system ).
1.
Conduct all the machine calibration stages.
2.
Carry out the programming or calibration required.
1.
Replace the board.
1.
Ensure that the wheel is stationary on start up and avoid it rotating backwards when START is activated.
2.
Check the motor connection (see electrical circuit diagram No. 652960)
3.
Check the supply voltage (it may be low).
4.
Replace the faulty electrical part.
5.
Replace the electronic board.
1.
Lower the guard with the wheel mounted
2.
Replace the microswitch.
1.
Replace the optoelectronics.
2.
Check the electrical system.
3.
Activate the pneumatic locking system.
1.
Replace the optoelectronics.
2.
Check the electrical system.
3.
Activate the pneumatic locking system.
1.
Wait until the end of the measuring cycle before lifting the guard cover.
1.
Avoid pushing the brake pedal while the motor is running.
a) Take care not to bump the machine during a measuring cycle.
b) Check the supply voltage (it may be low).
1.
Switch off the machine, lower the guard cover and switch the machine back on without moving the wheel. If the error
persists the electrical system has to be checked and if necessary replaced.
1.
Set the wheel data before starting the measuring cycle.
1.
a) Check that the wheel is correctly fixed to the adapter.
b) Locate (in any case) the external weight position, fix a 100 gram weight and run another measuring cycle.
1.
Repeat calibration from the beginning and fix the calibration weight when required in the calibration procedure (see also
"Basic machine calibration" on pg.36)
1.
Check the connection of the left pick-up (and replace if necessary) .
1.
Check the connection of the right pick-up (and replace if necessary) .
1.
a) Check that the calibration weight is correctly fitted.
b) Also check the positioning of the machine. It may not be stable and be vibrating excessively.
c) If the problem persists even after correctly anchoring the machine , check the connection of the sensors and
electronic board (and replace if necessary).
1.
a) Check that the optoelectronics and perforated disk are clean
b) If the problem persists, replace the optoelectronics card
