3.1. Sett ing up and connect-
ing the microwave
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric
shock due to live parts.
 Before using the appliance
for the first time and after
each use, check the micro-
wave and the mains cable
for damage.
 Do not use the microwave
if you notice that it, or the
mains cable, is damaged.
 Make sure that the mains
cable is not damaged and
does not run underneath
the microwave or over hot
surfaces or sharp edges.
 Completely unwind the
mains cable.
 Do not kink or crush the
mains cable.
 Contact our Service team
without delay if the appli-
ance has been damaged
during transport.
 Only connect the micro-
wave to a properly installed,
earthed and fused socket.
The mains voltage must
match the technical specifi-
cations for the appliance.
 The socket must be freely
accessible so that you can
unplug the microwave from
the mains quickly if neces-
sary.

Risk of injury!
There is a risk of injury
as a result of microwave
radiation. Microwave ra-
diation may leak outside
if the appliance is dam-
aged. Damage to the
mains cable may cause
an electric shock.
 If the housing, covers, micro-
wave door, door seals or the
door lock of the microwave
are damaged, do not use
the microwave under any
circumstances. Immediately
remove the plug from the
earthed mains socket in this
case. Do not use the micro-
wave again until it has been
repaired by a person trained
for this purpose.

for untrained persons to car-
ry out repair or maintenance
