. Energy-saving tips
 The cooking zone and pan base must be clean and free from residues to ensure
optimal heat transfer.
 Place the cookware in the centre of the cooking zone.
 Do not use any containers with a base diameter of less than 15 cm.
 When heating water, only heat the required volume.
 Where possible, always cover the cookware with a lid when cooking and
preparing food.
 Switch off the cooking zone early and use the residual heat to keep food warm,
melt food, etc.

Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids!
 Unplug the plug from the power socket before
cleaning the appliance.
NOTICE!
Possible damage to the appliance!
Damage to surfaces due to incorrect cleaning agents!
 Never use acidic, abrasive or granular, acetic-acid-,
soda- or solvent-based cleaning agents. These may
damage the appliance surfaces or the printing on it.
 Allow the appliance to cool down.
 Remove coarse dirt with a special glass scraper for glass ceramic surfaces.
 Wipe the cooled glass ceramic surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Use a
special cleaning agent for glass ceramic surfaces or a mild cleaning agent such
as washing-up liquid for heavier dirt.
 Dry the glass ceramic surface using a soft cloth.
 If the ventilation slots are dirty or blocked, carefully remove the dirt using a
vacuum cleaner.
