Adjusting the Cut Height
There are 5 different cutting heights:
3 - 50 mm - large cutting height
2 - 40 mm - medium cutting height
1 - 30 mm - low cutting height
1. Push the cutting height adjustment lever
(7) away from the machine.
2. Set the desired cutting height.
3. Put the cutting height adjustment lever
(7) back on the machine.
The correct height is around 25 – 45 mm
for a decorative lawn and around
45 –65 mm for a used lawn.
A higher cut height should be se-
lected for the fi rst cut of the season.
Observe noise control and local
regulations.
Insert/remove battery
Switch off the device, pull the
ignition key (11) and wait for the
blades to come to a stop. There is a
risk of personal injury.
1. Lift the cover (6) on the machine hous-
ing.
2. To insert the battery (13) into the de-
vice, push the battery along the guide
rail into the device. It locks into place
audibly.
3. To remove the battery (13) from the
device, press the release button (12) on
the battery and pull the battery out.

Switching On and Off
If the handle (1) is in the
resting position ("
tion), or it is lying fl at on the
fl oor, the device cannot be
started. If the device is run-
ning and the handle (1) is moved to one of
the two positions, the device switches off.
To start it back up, move the handle (1) to
operating position and perform start-up as
described below starting with point 6.
1. Place the mower on a level surface and
ensure that the machine does not touch
any objects before switching it on.
2. Lift the cover (6) on the machine hous-
ing.
3. Slide the charged battery (13) along
the guide rail into the machine. You will
hear it click into place.
4. Insert the contact key (11) in the corre-
sponding opening provided.
5. Turn the contact key (11)

Take the gripper (1) in your hand
and fold it towards you to move the
fork (5) from the resting position (
to the operating position.
The positions are displayed on the
housing (8) next to the fork (5)
7. To switch on, press the release button
(10) and hold it while pressing the start
button (2) towards the gripper (1).
8. Let go of the release button (10).
9. To switch off, release the start button
(2).
After switching off the equip-
ment, the blade continues to
turn for several seconds. Do
not touch the moving blade.
