In order to reduce the danger of serious
or fatal injuries, we recommend that indi-
viduals who wear medical implants should
consult their doctor and the manufacturer
of the implant before operating the ma-
chine.
Preparation

intentional start-up. Do not insert the plug
into the outlet until the device is fully pre-
pared for use.

1. Grasp the dust collection box (15) by
the filter holder (19).
2. Unlocking the dust collection box: Turn
the dust collection box (15) so that
the marking on the dust collection box
points to ὑ.
3. Pull off the dust collection box (15).
Opening and emptying the dust
collection box (Fig. A)
1. Press the dust collection box (15) on
the filter cover (21) together and pull
both parts apart.
2. Pull the filter bag (20) from the filter
holder (19).
3. Empty the filter bag (20).
4. Pull the opening of the filter bag (20)
over the ring on the filter holder (19).
5. Close the dust collection box (15).
Make sure the filter bag fits correctly.
Fitting the dust collection box
(Fig. A)
1. Before connecting, ensure that the dust
collection box (15) is tightly closed.
2. Hold the dust collection box (15) at a
slight angle to slide it on. Push the dust
collection box onto the dust extraction
connection (7) as far as it will go. The
nose in the dust collection box must be
inserted into the groove (17) on the
connection.
3. Locking the dust collection box: Turn
the dust collection box (15) so that
the marking on the dust collection box
points to ὑ.
Connecting dust extraction
Notes
• Make sure that the vacuum cleaner is
suitable, e.g. workshop vacuum clean-
er. Normal household vacuum cleaners
are not suitable for vacuuming sanding
material. This information can be found
in the operating instructions of the ex-
ternal device.
