SECURING THE GAS CYLINDER
1. Attach both velcro tapes to the rear of the tank housing using 4 M5*12 screws, Φ5 washer and
M5 nuts.
2. Position the gas cylinder inside the tank housing.
3. Close the gas cylinder tap, then connect the gas cylinder with a regulator. Please refer to the
instructions of the regulator on how to connect a regulator with the gas cylinder.
4. Stick the velcro tapes together as illustrated. Make sure they are tightened properly.
CAUTION: Do not restraint the regulator with the straps!
LEAKAGE TEST
Gas connections on the heater are leak tested at the factory prior to shipment. A complete gas
tightness check must be performed at the installation site due to possible mishandling in
shipment or excessive pressure being applied to the heater.
The appliance must be checked with a full cylinder.
Make sure the safety control valve is in the OFF position.
Make a soap solution of one part liquid detergent and one part water. The soap solution can
be applied with a spray bottle, brush or rag.
Soap bubbles will appear in case of a leak. For leakage test points see pictures below. Turn the
gas supply ON.
In case of a leak, turn off the gas supply. Tighten any leaking fittings, then turn the gas supply
on and recheck. Contact your dealer for assistance if bubbles continue to appear.
ATTENTION: Never use a naked flame to test for leaks. Never leak test while smoking.
