right handlebar, and the rear brake fluid cup is
installed in the middle of the right side of the vehicle.
If the fluid level is lower than the lower limit mark or
the MIN mark in the reservoir, the specified brake
fluid should be added, and the brake fluid level
should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
Replenishing brake fluid should be considered a
necessity for regular maintenance.
Caution
This car uses DOT4 brake fluid. Do not use the
remaining fluid from the open cup and the brake
fluid left from the last maintenance, because the old
fluid will absorb the moisture in the air. Be careful
not to spill this brake fluid on painted or plastic sur-
faces, it will attack the surface of these substances.
Braking System
The brake systems that should be checked daily are
as follows:
• Check the front and rear wheel brake systems for
fluid leakage.
• The brake lever and brake pedal shall maintain a
certain anti-support force.
• Check the wear condition of the friction plate. The
point of checking the friction plate is to see if the
plate is worn to the bottom of the groove. If the
groove bottom line is exceeded, the two friction
plates should be replaced together.
Warning
If the brake system or friction pads require repair,
we recommend that you take this work to a dealer.
They are well equipped with the tools and skilled to
do the job in the safest and most economical way.
When you just put on a new wheel disc friction pad,
first grab and release the brake lever a few times,
let the friction pad fully extend to restore the nor-
mal handle counter-support force, and make the
brake fluid circulate stably.
Tires
Correct tire pressure will provide maximum stability,
driving comfort, and tire durability. Check tire pres-
sure and adjust as necessary.
