• Install the new oil filter on the engine by hand
until it can't be tightened by hand, then use a
torque wrench to tighten the oil filter with a
torque of 15 - 20N.m.
2. Pour about 2.2L of oil that meets the specifica-
tions into the engine until the amount of oil
reaches the upper limit of the oil dipstick.
3. Install the oil filler cap.
4. Start the engine, let the engine run for a few min-
utes at idle speed, and then turn off the engine.
5. Check the oil level of the oil dipstick again. The
oil level must reach the upper limit mark, and
there is no oil leakage in the engine.
6. If the oil is splashed, please wipe it clean.
Spark plug
For the first 1000 km of driving and every
6000 km thereafter, use a small wire
brush or spark plug cleaner to remove
the carbon deposits attached to the
spark plug, and use the spark plug gap
thickness measuring sheet to re-adjust
the spark plug electrode gap to keep it at
0.7 - 0.8 mm.
Spark plugs should be replaced after every 12,000 km.
Caution
Do not overtighten the spark plug or stagger the
threads to avoid damaging the threads of the cylin-
der head. When removing the spark plug, do not
allow impurities to enter the engine through the
spark plug.
Adjustment of the throttle cable
1. In the full steering position on the left and right
sides, check whether the throttle control handle
can be flexibly rotated from the fully open posi-
tion to the fully closed position.
2. Measure its free travel on
the
throttle
control
flange. The standard free
stroke should be 10°-15°.
The vehicle is equipped with a
dual-wire structure throttle
cable, the throttle cable (A) is
the throttle cable, and the throt-
tle cable (B) is the return throttle
cable. Please follow the steps
below to adjust the free travel of the throttle grip:
• Remove the throttle cable boot.
