After cleaning, reverse operation, install the throttle
body, and make sure all parts are in place, try to
start the engine successfully.
Notice
Do not allow impurities to block the bypass passage.
Drive chain
The service life of the drive chain depends on
proper lubrication and adjustment. Improper mainte-
nance can lead to premature wear of the drive chain
and sprockets. In severe use conditions, must be
diligently maintained.
Adjustment of the drive chain:
Every 1000 km, adjust the drive
chain so that the sag of the chain
is 28-35 mm. Depending on your
driving conditions, the chain may
need to be adjusted frequently.
Warning
These recommendations are maximum adjust-
ment intervals, and the adjustment chain should
actually be checked before every drive.
Warning
Excessive slack in the chain may cause an acci-
dent from the chain or cause serious damage to
the engine.
Please adjust the chain as follows:
• Use the support frame to support the motorcycle.
• Loosen the rear axle nut 1.
• Loosen the lock nut 2.
• Turn the adjusting bolt 3 to the
right or left to adjust the slack of
the chain. While adjusting the
chain, the front and rear sprock-
ets must be aligned in a straight line. To assist you
with this adjustment process, there are fiducial
marks on the swing arm and each chain adjuster
that can be aligned with each other and used as a
reference from one end to the other. After aligning
and adjusting the slack of the chain to 28-35mm, re
-fix the rear axle nut for final inspection.
Notice
When replacing a new chain, both sprockets must
be checked for wear and replaced if necessary.
