When using the player in the car, you can
transmit the audio signals to the FM radio and
output the signals from the car stereo. Do the
procedure below to turn on or off the FM
transmitter and select the frequency.

Press (MENU) on the monitor repeatedly
until the "FM Transmitter" appears.

Press (VOL) +/ – on the monitor to select
"On" or "Off."
The default setting is "On."

To select the frequency, press (REVERSE)
on the monitor.
"Frequency" screen appears.

Press (VOL) +/ – on the monitor to select
the frequency.
The settable range is 88.3 MHz to 89.9 MHz,
in 0.2-MHz steps.

Press (REVERSE) on the monitor to
return to "FM Transmitter" screen.
When 5 seconds elapse with no button
pressed, normal display resumes.
Notes
• If headphones are connect ed t o t he player, FM
t ransmit t er f unct ion does not w ork even w hen
" On" is select ed.
• Depending on t he locat ion in w hich t his player is
at t ached, FM signals may not reach t he car radio
and audio out put f rom t he car st ereo may
become int errupt ed. If t his happens, adjust t he
posit ion of t he FM t ransmission ant enna or move
t he recept ion ant enna of t he car radio closer t o
t he player.
• If noise is heard due t o t he int erf erence w it h t he
local FM broadcast , change t he FM t ransmission
f requency.
• When t he FM t ransmit t er is t urned of f , you
cannot change t he f requency set t ing.

screen
When this item is set to "On," the blue
background screen appears when no video
signal is received.
