6.0 - SWITCH
6.1 - CPI
If the solenoid valve is supplied with the supplied CPI, the position of the sensor is already calibrated and fixed, therefore, to
make it work, simply electrically connect it to the connector (25) marked "CPI SWITCH WIRING" .
Follow the instructions given in paragraph 6.4.
6.2 - CPI & OPI
If the solenoid valve is supplied with CPI and OPI, the position of the sensors is already calibrated and fixed, therefore, to operate
them simply electrically connect them to the connector (25) marked "CPI + OPI SWITCH WIRING" .
Follow the instructions given in paragraph 6.4.
6.3 - TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Ambient temperature
• Switchable voltage
• Switchable current
• Protection degree
6.4 - WIRING
CPI
• Before wiring the CPI connector (25), completely unscrew and remove the central screw (24);
• Connect the terminals 1 and 3 of the CPI connector (25) in series to the signalling device. The terminals 1 and 2 of the
CPI connector (25) connected in series to the signalling device provide an indirect open valve signal (not mechanically
controlled on the valve)
• Use the appropriate cable terminals (see figures in 3.2);
• Wire the CPI connector (25) with 3x0.75mm ² Ø outer cable from 6.2 to 8.1 mm. The cable must be in double sheath,
suitable for outdoor use, with a minimum voltage of 500V and a temperature of at least 90°C;
• Secure the CPI connector (25) by tightening (recommended torque 0.4 N.m ± 10%) the central screw (24);
• Open and close the solenoid valve (giving and removing voltage) 2-3 times to check the correct signalling of the microswitch.
CPI + OPI
• Before wiring the CPI +OPI connector (25), completely unscrew and remove the central screw (24);
• Connect the terminals 1 and 3 of the CPI +OPI connector (25) in series to the signal device for the closed valve signal
and the terminals 1 and 2 of the CPI +OPI connector (25) in series to the signal device for the open valve signal. Use the
appropriate cable terminals (see figures in 3.2);
• Wire the CPI +OPI connector (25) with 3x0.75mm ² Ø outer cable from 6.2 to 8.1 mm. The cable must be in double sheath,
suitable for outdoor use, with a minimum voltage of 500V and a temperature of at least 90°C;
• Secure the CPI + OPI connector (25) by tightening the central screw (24) (recommended torque 0.4 N.m ± 10%);
• Open and close the solenoid valve (giving and removing voltage) 2-3 times to check the correct signalling of the
microswitches.
7.0 - TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
• During transportation, the material must be treated with care, avoiding a situation whereby the device can be subjected to
shocks, blows or vibrations;
• If the product has surface treatments (e.g. painting, cataphoresis, etc.) they must not be damaged during transportation;
• The transportation and storage temperature is that indicated in the plate data;
• If the device is not installed immediately after delivery it must be properly stored in a dry, clean place;
• In humid environments it is necessary to use drying agents or heating to avoid condensation.
• The product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of in compliance with the legislation in force in the country where this
operation is carried out.
