4.2.7 Using the internal pressure sensor
IMPORTANT
To avoid possible air leaks inside the pneumatic level device, the dip tube must be completely removed from the water at the
end of the pumping process. For this purpose, choose an appropriate "Overrun" time.
A compressor (optional) can be used if there is a long distance between the dip tube and the control box. For the connection of
the compressor, see 4.2.8 Connection of the compressor (option).
4.2.8 Connection of the compressor (option)
The compressor blows air continuously into the blue hose, thus preventing the formation of condensation which interferes with the
signal. The use of a compressor is mandatory:
- when the blue hose is 15 m or longer,
- or when the lifting station is installed after a grease separator.
If a compressor is used, it can be connected to the power supply via the control box (see 4.2.1 Locations overview) or directly to
the mains using the plug.
Connect the compressor hose to the blue hose with a T-connector. The T-connector must be placed at least 15 cm below the
control box.
Adjustment on the compressor: this is done by turning the regulator dial to allow for sufficient flow without changing the signal
sent by the dip tube. See 5. Commissioning.
NOTE
The Control Box ZPS1.3 delivered with Sanicubic SC is fitted with a compressor that is already attached and connected to the
box.
5. COMMISSIONING
1. Check that the wires for the pump, mains supply, level sensor(s), compressor (if fitted) and any signal contacts are
correctly connected.
2. If a compressor is present, check that it is switched off.
3. Switch the control box on to mains power.
4. Set the parameters of the control box (see 6.2.1 Parameter settings). Only qualified personnel may set these parameters.

5. Press
: the system is in Automatic mode.
6. Carry out a few pumping cycles (water tests) to check the following: cut-in and cut-out heights, measured pump intensity.
7. Correct if necessary (voir 6.2.1 Parameter settings).
8. For three-phase pumps, check the direction of rotation of the pump (refer to the installation/operating manual of the
pump).
The internal sensor is a pressure sensor 0 to 10 kPa (0 to 1 mWs, 0 to 100 mbar). The sensor is
designed as a differential pressure converter, so that barometric variations are eliminated.
Connect the blue 6/8 mm hose from the dip tube to the connector located on the underside of the
control box.
To calibrate the 0 point, see 6.2.1 Parameter settings > Parameter "intern. converter".
Using the inlet at 250 mm
The pneumatic hose must always have a continuous
positive slope from the dip tube to the control box.
NOTICE
The menu item "internal converter – adjustment" is for
the accurate adjustment of the zero point.
