operation. Nevertheless: installation, maintenance and operation of the
appliance can be dangerous. Following the following procedures will

SPECIAL SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR THE ELECTRIC PLANER
● Before connecting the battery to the planer, always ensure that the
battery voltage matches the voltage indicated on the unit's rating plate.
● Only sharpened cutting elements should be used.
● Wait until its rotating parts have come to a complete stop before putting
the planer down after work.
● Wear ear protection when working with the planer.
● Hold the planer securely with both hands when using it.
EN
● Before working with the planer, make sure that there are no metal
objects such as nails or screws in the workpiece.
● Do not place fingers in the opening of the dust ejection spigot. Clean
the spigot with a piece of wood.
● The workpiece material must be clamped to prevent movement.
● Keep the workstation clean and ensure proper lighting. Clutter and
areas with poor or low lighting can cause accidents. Clean up materials
and tools that are not being used.
● Do not use electric tools in fire or explosive environments, flammable
vapours, gaseous environments or environments with heavy dust.
Electric tools produce sparks on the commutator, which can ignite fumes
or dust.
● Keep bystanders and children away from the work area when using
the power tool!
● Never leave power tools unattended.
● When operating a power tool, stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense. Do not use the power tool when you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment's
inattention while operating the power tool can cause serious injury.
● Wear personal protective equipment. Always wear eye and hearing
protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-slip safety
footwear, or hearing protection, used under appropriate conditions, will
reduce injuries.
● Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure that the switch is in the off
position before connecting to the battery, picking up or moving the tool. ●
Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or switching on power
tools with the switch on prevents accidents.
● Before starting the power tool, ensure that the setting key or special
key is removed from the tool. A spanner left on a rotating part of the
power tool may cause injury.
● Always maintain correct posture and balance. This enables better
control of the tool in unexpected situations. Stable footing on a hard
surface enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
● Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or
long hair can get caught in moving parts.
● If dust extraction and spoil collection equipment is available, ensure
that it is connected and used properly. The use of dust extraction can
reduce dust hazards.
ATTENTION: The device is designed for indoor operation.
Despite the use of an inherently safe design, the use of safety measures
and additional protective measures, there is always a residual risk of
injury during work.
