Intended Purpose
Electrosurgical equipment for cutting and coagulation of tissue.
2.1 Indications
Monopolar rigid/bendable argon electrodes and related handles are
intended for electrosurgical cutting and coagulation of biological tissue
during open and endoscopic endoscopy in various surgical disciplines.
2.2 Contraindications
Do not use monopolar rigid argon electrodes in direct contact with the heart,
central circulatory system or the central nervous system.
The monopolar rigid argon electrodes are contraindicated for use where its
surgical techniques are contraindicated.
Do not use the monopolar rigid argon electrodes if, in the opinion of an
experienced physician or according to current professional literature, such use
would cause endangerment of the patient, for example due to the general
condition of the patient, or if other contraindications are present.
