INSTRUCTION MANUAL
PRODUCT'S PRESENTATION
This tool helps you check the condition of the
injectors while applying pressure on them.
It is specially indicated for checking the ato-
mization pattern and the opening pressure of
the injectors.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully this owner's ma-
nual before using the product.
Failure to comply with these ins-
tructions could result in personal
injury and/or damage to the
product.
Please keep the instructions for
future reference.
WARNING! Use caution when working with fuel
systems.
IMPORTANT: Refer to the vehicle manufactu-
rer's service instructions to confirm which are
the correct procedures.
- Wear appropriate clothing, wear eye pro-
tection and operate in well-ventilated areas
to prevent inhaling vapors.
- Keep yourself away from moving engine
parts.
- Ensure the vehicle is in neutral gear. Apply the
parking brake and block the drive wheels.
- Keep near a fire extinguisher suitable for fuel,
electrical, and chemical fires.
- Turn the ignition off when connecting or dis-
connecting electrical components.
- Use a cloth to cover fuel line fittings when
connecting or disconnecting fuel lines.
- Clean fuel spills immediately.
- Keep away from the engine cooling fan. In
some vehicles it may start unexpectedly.
- Follow vehicle service manual cautions when
working with airbag systems to avoid unex-
pected deployment and personal injury. Air-
bags can deploy even after the ignition is tur-
ned off or the battery is disconnected due to a
special energy reserve module.
- Before disconnecting the injector from the
tester, be sure to relieve the pressure by turning
the valve.
- Never put tools on top of the battery.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Measuring range: 0-60MPa
Connectors: M12(x1), M14(x2)
ASSEMBLY
Screw in the 4 bolts on the base of the tester.
Screw the lever to the tester and install cotter
pin.
Screw the tank onto the tester.
OPERATION
Pre-test check
Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the
engine and the fuel system to identify dama-
ged wires or lines.
Perform diagnostic procedures as described in
the vehicle's service manual to eliminate other
possible causes of problems.
Preparation
Depressurize the vehicle's fuel system by fo-
llowing the procedure outlined in the vehicle's
service manual.
Remove the fuel injectors as per the vehicle's
service manual.
Testing injectors
Fill the tank with diesel.
