The main menu appears.
2.7.3. Password Menu
Saves all settings except for the main menu with a password. You can still choose between the
imprints saved as favorites without a password (see "Selecting favorites", page 69).
If the set password is no longer available, it can be reset by the REINER Service (see
"Contact", page 98).
2.7.3.1. Password Menu ON/OFF
Activates or deactivates the password function.
Push [MENU].
f
"Imprint" appears.
Push [u] five times.
f
"Settings" appears.
Push [SELECT].
f
"Chipcard" appears.
Push [u] twice.
f
"Password Menu" appears.
Push [SELECT].
f
"Password Menu ON/OFF" appears.
Push [SELECT].
f
"ON" or "OFF" flashes.
When "OFF" flashes:
To activate the password query, push [u].
f
"OFF" flashes.
Push [OK].
f
"Password" and a four-digit figure appear. The first digit flashes.
Set desired number with the buttons [t] or [u].
f
To confirm the input, push [OK].
f
The second digit flashes.
Proceed in the same manner for all digits.
f
"Password = XXXX" appears.
