8. Insert drill bit or chisel bit into the machine.
(Observe the operating instructions of the
machine.)
9. See page 2. Choose the intake connector (3) to
match the drill bit or chisel bit.
10.Put the intake connector (3) onto the extraction
base body (4).
11.Connect the antistatic suction hose of the
suitable extraction device to the connector (5)
(extractor connection piece: inside Ø = 35 mm,
outside Ø = 41 mm). (Read the operating
instructions supplied with the extraction device.)
Removal:
Prevent that dust falls into the tool holder of the
machine.
Before removing the accessory, hold the machine
pointing downwards (the accessory points to the
ground) and shake out the dust that deposited in the
dust extraction system.
Remove accessory as described in the instruction
manual of the machine.
Remove the dust extraction system in reverse
order.
Transporting in the case:
Store the dust extraction system in the ESA max-
case for the transport.
5.2
Switching on and off
Switching on: First switch on the vacuum cleaner,
then switch on the machine and work.
Switching off: First switch off the machine, then
switch off the vacuum cleaner.
5.3
Drilling with dust extraction
1. Retract the drilling intake connector (3) until the
drill bit protrudes from the front.
2. Place the drill bit at the required position.
3. Place the drilling intake connector (3) flat on the
surface,
4. Hold the machine vertically to the drilling surface
(e.g. wall) so that the drilling intake connector (3)
remains flat on the surface.
5. Hold the machine firmly, switch on (pilot drill
slowly) and drill the hole.
6. Slowly pull out the drill bit from the bore to extract
residual drilling dust.
7. Switch off the machine.
6. Cleaning, maintenance
6.1
Cleaning
Ensure that drilling dust cannot penetrate your
body or harm other persons. Wear an
appropriate dust mask.
Do not blow out with compressed air!
Regularly clean with a suitable vacuum cleaner.
Remove clogging and blockages.
6.2
Replace worn parts
Replace damaged parts before using the power
tool.
