The operating instructions refer to different

Before using for the
first time
Before the new appliance can be used,
this must be fully unpacked, cleaned and
assembled. To do this, perform the following
steps:
1. Remove the motor unit, glass carafe
and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Remove the packaging material that is
present.
3. Check all parts for completeness.

4. Inspect all parts for visible damage.
Caution!
Never operate a damaged appliance!
5. Thoroughly clean and dry all parts
before using for the first time.
