Connection
Connect the EURO-AV socket of your recorder with the
respective socket of the other recorder.

Adapter cables can be obtained from your dealer.
Connect socket © of the recording recorder and the aerial
socket of your TV set by means of an aerial cable.

Copying
Warning: Copyright — in copying material copyright must not

© Switch on the TV set and select the programme position
for video playback on the TV set.
@ Load the cassette to be copied into the playback recorder
and a cassette with sufficient playing time into your re-
cording recorder.
® Press the numbered
button 0 (AV operation) on your re-
mote control handset.
@ Start playback on the playback recorder and simultane-
ously press button @ on your remote contro! handset.
Your recorder is equipped with an electronic combination
lock which can be used to prevent any of the functions being
selected. Even a cassette which is loaded after the lock is
applied cannot be removed
until you unlock the recorder
again. The lock can be applied and removed quite simply by
using any number containing 4 digits.
Select a number you wish to use then enter this personal
code in the boxes opposite. This page can be removed and
stored in a safe place.
If you should forget the code number or mislay this sheet,
your dealer will be able to unlock your video recorder.
Locking the Recorder
® Prepare the recorder for entering the code number. To do
this, press the numbered buttons 8 5 0 0, then press but-
ton =o,
@ Enter the code number a 4 figures using the numbered
buttons 1...0.
Please make a note of your personal code number.
® Store the code number with button =.
— The display shows A 0 and the time of day.
— The recorder is "locked".
— If now acassette is inserted, it cannot be removed until the
recorder is unlocked.
