Your TV set receives the programmes of various stations on
certain channels.
Your recorder also "transmits" on such a channel (between
channels 30 and 40 in the UHF band) to which your TV set
must be tuned.
@ Switch on TV set and select the AV position on the TV set,
which is intended for playback of video recordings via the
aerial cable.
@ insert a prerecorded VHS cassette with the label upper-
most into the cassette compartment until it is automatically
pulled in.
@ Press button » on the recorder.
@ Tune the TV set to the picture from the recorder (between
channels 30 and 40 in the UHF band) and enter the tun-
ing position in the memory (see operating instructions for
TV set).
Alf there is a TV station transmitting on the selected output
channel of the recorder, you will get "moiré patterning" or
"wavy lines".
In this case, the output channel of the recorder must be
varied.

® Slightly rotate the channel selector + w__w — (on the back
of the recorder) to the left or right.
@ Again search and store the recorder picture on the TV set.
@ Press button &) CASS 4 to switch off the picture of the re-
corder.
