Freezing tips

When starting up for the first time or after a period of non-use, allow the appliance to run

for at least 2-4 hours on the highest settings before putting food into the ice box.

If you want to speed up the process, you can activate the Fast Cooling function 24 hours

before placing the fresh products in the ice box.

Prepare food in small portions so that it can be frozen quickly and completely and only as

much as necessary can be thawed later.

Wrap food in aluminium foil or suitable airtight wrapping.

Do not allow defrosted fresh food to come in contact with already frozen food to avoid the

temperature of the latter to increase.

Frozen products (ice cubes, popsicles): if consumed immediately after removal from the

freezer, they can cause frostbite on the skin.

It is recommended to label and date each frozen package to control the shelf life.

Tips for frozen food storage

Make sure that they are stored correctly inside the ice box.

Once defrosted, food will deteriorate quickly and should not be frozen again. Do not exceed

the shelf life indicated by the food manufacturer.

Power failure or cooling system fault

Try to open the fridge door as little as possible, so that you can keep food in good

condition for hours.

If you receive an early power failure warning:

Set the temperature to the lowest possible level (cold) (Do not store new food during this

time!). Set the temperature back to the original setting when the power supply returns

to normal.

Note:

Once you start using the refrigerator, it is best to use it continuously to lengthen its service life.

Turning off the fridge

If it is necessary to switch off the appliance for a prolonged period of time, the following

measures should be taken to prevent mould growth.

1. Remove the food.

2. Unplug the cable from the power supply.

3. Clean and dry the interior completely.

4. Make sure the door is slightly open to allow air flow.
