Operating the hob with sensor keys
The glass ceramic hob is operated with touch control sensor keys. The sensor keys are operated as
follows: lightly touch a symbol on the surface of the ceramic glass plate. A buzzer will indicate when the
controls have been operated correctly. The touch control sensor key will then be indicated as "key".
ON / OFF key
This key is used to switch the entire hob on and off.
Cooking zone power setting display
The power-setting indicator shows the power setting which has been selected, or:

Residual heat
P
Power boost
Pan recognition
Lock key
The lock key can be used to lock all of the keys.
Keep warm key
To keep warm.
Power boost in the sensor field
The power boost setting makes additional power available for induction cooking zones.
Pause key
The Pause function can be used to briefly stop the cooking process.
Recall function (recovery function)
The most recent setting can be recovered if the hob is switched off unintentionally.
Grill key (IFU078B0 only)
Grill function with a griddle plate for induction.
Automatic fan key (Not available on IFU078B0)
If an Opera hood is paired with the hob, the fan matches the highest cooking zone power level.
Hood light key (Not available on IFU078B0)
If an Opera hood is paired with the hob, it's lightscan be turned on and off with this key.
Worth knowing about the slider (sensorfield)
In principle, the slider functions the same as the touch controls; the only difference is that you can put
your finger on the glass ceramic surface and then move it around. The sensor field recognises this
movement and raises or lowers the display setting (power level) in ac- cordance with the movement.
The term sensor field is used to mean slider from now on.
What must be observed when operating sensor fields?
Your nger should not be placed at onto the glass ceramic surface
in order to avoid ad- jacent keys/sensor elds from reacting by mistake.
Press the sensor field lightly or move your finger around
You can press the sensor field very lightly with your finger, when this is
done the setting on the display (power level) will gradually change.
The faster the movement, the faster the change in the display.
