BELT REMOVAL
Hook the tool (1) to the pulley of the timing belt and tighten the knob.
Insert into a ratchet wrench an extender and suitable socket.
Turn the ratchet clockwise and dismount the belt along the bevel of the tool.
BELT MOUNTING
Hook the tool (2) to the pulley of the timing belt and tighten the knob.
Insert into a ratchet wrench an extender and suitable socket.
Rotate the ratchet clockwise and manually guide the belt over the tool and inside the pulley.
Check that once inserted the belt is properly aligned in the pulley.
We recommend turning the engine two or three times to make this check.
NOTE: When working with 16 valves vehicle, mount the poly-v belt longest
first and the shortest later.
