How to sharpen the blade
Note:
Vibration is the result of an unbalanced
blade. A damaged blade may cause serious
accidents.
1. Sharpen the blade 2 times a year or every 25 hours;
2. Do not sharpen the blade while assembled on the
machine. Remove it according to the instructions
under "How to remove the cutting blade";
3. Clean the blade with a brush, soap and water.
Check for cracks, dents and other damages.
Replace the blade if it is worn, warped or
damaged;

Remember, the equipment must be switched off and sparkling plug cable for any maintenance.
* In very dusty places or when particles brought by the air are present, clean more frequently.
** For of 3.5 HP, 5 HP and 3.75 HP motors, the oil must be changed. For 6.0 HP motor, oil level should be checked
and completed if necessary.

4. Use a file to Sharpen the blade; make sure to
equally sharpen both sides;
5. Make sure the blade is balanced. Use a screwdriver
and keep the blade parallel to a horizontal plane,
as shown in Figure 8. A balanced blade will
remain parallel to the ground. If it is unbalanced,
the heavy side will turn to the ground. Sharpen the
heavy side until the blade is balanced.
