(USA) and Philips Electronics Ltd (Canada)
warrant each new Philips AVENT product,
model SCD505/00, against defects in materials
or workmanship for a period of two years from
the date of purchase, and agree to repair or
replace any defective product without charge.
Important: This warranty does not cover
damage resulting from accident, misuse or
abuse, lack of reasonable care, or the affixing of
any attachment not provided with the product.

incidental or consequential damages. In order

Why doesn't the link indicator on the parent

light up when I press

Replace the batteries in the baby unit or
connect the baby unit to a power supply.

Why doesn't the
indicator on the parent
unit light up when I start recharging the
parent unit?
•
It takes a few minutes before the battery
indicator lights up especially when the
parent unit is charged for the first time or
not in use for a long period of time.
Why does the parent unit beep?
•
If the parent unit beeps while the
indicator flashes red, move the parent
unit closer to the baby unit to re-establish
connection between the parent unit and
the baby unit.
•
If the parent unit beeps and the battery
indicator flashes red, recharge the parent
unit.
•
If the baby unit is turned off, turn on the
baby unit.
Why does the parent unit generate a
high-pitched noise?
•
Position the parent unit and the baby unit
with a minimum distance of 5 feet/1.5 meters.
It takes a few seconds for the acoustic
suppression to activate.

Decrease the volume of the parent unit.
