5 Camera Heads and Spring Assembly

5.3.2 Camera Head Installation

1. Grasp the spring assembly close to the camera head end of
the spring assembly.
2. Slowly screw on the camera head in a clockwise direction,
being careful not to cross thread the connections.
3. Use the supplied wrench to tighten the camera head.
Do not overtighten or use excessive force!

5.4 Removing and Installing the Spring Assembly

Avoid touching the green circuit board or gold pins of the spring assembly
or camera head with bare hands. Touching these will transfer oils from the fingers to
these components, which may lead to premature corrosion. Wear clean rubber gloves if
possible.

5.4.1 Spring Assembly Removal

Before removing the spring assembly, wipe it dry and remove any dirt that may fall into
either end of the spring's connections.
Remove the camera head following the instructions shown in 5.3.1
1. Grasp the sonde compartment at the base of the
termination area where it connects to the push cable.
2. With the other hand, use the supplied wrench to loosen
the spring assembly.
3. After the spring assembly is loose, continue to unscrew
counterclockwise until removed.
Place the spring assembly in an area where the contact pins will not be harmed.
