5.3 Removing and Installing the Camera Heads
Avoid touching the green circuit board or gold pins on the spring assembly or
camera head with bare hands. Touching these will transfer oils from the fingers to these
components, which may lead to premature corrosion. Wear clean, dry rubber gloves if
possible.
5.3.1 Camera Head Removal
Before removing the camera head, wipe it dry, and remove any dirt that may fall into
the camera connection areas.
1. Grasp the spring assembly close to the base of the camera
head.
2. Use the camera wrench to loosen the camera head by
turning in a counterclockwise direction.
3. After the camera head is loose, continue to unscrew the
camera until removed.
Place the camera head in an area where the contact pins will not be damaged.
