Adjusting the cutting
depth
1. Press the locking mechanism (15) of the
cuttingdepthadjustmentandkeepit
pressed.
2. Set the desired cutting depth on the
cutting depth scale (29) using the refe-
rence mark (28).
A:Markingwithoutguiderail
B: Markingwithguiderail
3. Release the locking mechanism (15).
Connecting the guide
rail
Theguiderailshavetensiontear
protection (black rubber lip) on their
undersides.Thistensiontearprotection
mustbeshortenedtobeflushwiththe
lengthoftheguiderailbeforethefirstcut.
Place the guide rail on a workpiece. Set a
cuttingdepthofapprox.10 mmonthe
plunge saw and turn the plunge saw on.
Guide the plunge saw evenly in the cutting
direction, applying slight pressure.
1. Slide the connecting element (32) into
the groove on the guide rails (31).
Theconnectingelementshouldbein
the middle between the two guide rails.
2. Tightenthegrubscrews(33)withthe
smallhexkey(17).
Working instructions
Thecuttingwidthmarkings(26)on
the protective hood (24) show the
front and rear cutting point of the saw bla-
de(Ø 140mm),atmaximumcutting
depth.
Sawing (without guide rail)
Right angle sawing
• Hold the machine with both hands, one
hand on the handle (6) and the second
ontheauxiliaryhandle(1).
• Switch on the device, see chapter
"Switchingon/off"
• Place the machine with the front part of
the saw table (10) on the workpiece.
• Lower the plunge saw and saw for-
ward with moderate pressure – never
backward.
Mitre cuts up to 45°
• Set the desired cutting angle as described
inthechapter"Settingthecuttingangle".
• Hold the machine with both hands, one
hand on the handle (6) and the second
ontheauxiliaryhandle(1).
• Switch on the device, see chapter
"Switchingon/off"
• Place the machine with the front part of
the saw table (10) on the workpiece.
• Lower the plunge saw and saw for-
ward with moderate pressure – never

Plunge cuts
• Set the desired cutting depth as described
inthechapter"Settingthecuttingdepth".
• Place the device on the workpiece.
• Hold the machine with both hands, one
hand on the handle (6) and the second
ontheauxiliaryhandle(1).
• Switch on the device, see chapter
"Switchingon/off"
• Lower the plunge saw and saw for-
ward with moderate pressure – never
backward.
Reduce the risk of kickback by pla-
cing the rear edge against a stop
(e.g. the guide rail).
