Always check the device before using it
for obvious defects such as loose, worn or
damaged parts, correct the positioning of
screws or other parts. Replace damaged
parts.
Cleaning
Do not use any cleaning agents
or solvents. Chemical substances
may attack the plastic parts of the
machine. Never clean the device
under running water.
• Thoroughly clean the machine after
every use. Remove chips, dust and
workpiece remnants with a vacuum
cleaner if necessary.
• Clean the ventilation openings and
the surface of the machine with a soft
brush or cloth.
• Try to clean resinous surfaces with a
damp, lukewarm cloth that has been
wrung out well. Make sure that no liquids
can get into the interior of the housing!
Alternatively, you can use a special
cleaner (resin solvent) or multispray.
Please take notice of the safety informa-
tion and instructions provided by the
manufacturer of the special cleaner/
multispray.
Maintenance
The device is maintenance free.
Storage
• Store the device in a dry and dustproof
location and out of reach of children.
• The mains cable can be wound onto
the holders (30) on the back of the ap-
pliance for storage, see Fig.
34
Transport
• The machine can be relocated over a
short distance with two people. Relocat-
ing the device over a longer distance
generally has to take place with a
transport aid.
• To carry, grip the device by the four feet
or by the feed and discharge table.
• For stabilisation purposes, we recom-
mend installing the cross struts to secure
the table for transport between the hous-
ing (11) and the feed/discharge table
(4/14) for the period of transport.
Disposal/environmental
protection
The device, accessories and packaging
should be properly recycled.
Electrical devices must not be
disposed of with domestic waste.
The crossed out waste bin symbol
means that this product must not be
disposed of with household waste
after its service life.
