Rotate the pilot valve discharge lever to the horizontal position (see figure below).

Wait until the pressure gauge reaches the tank rated pressure (8 BAR). At that
moment you will notice that the engine noise will change, because the compressor
is not more pressurizing the tank. Thus, now, you can connect the air tools to the
air supply connectors.
You can reduce the air pressure output to values below 8 BAR, turning the pressure
regulator. The outlet pressure can only be equal to or less than the tank pressure.
WARNING: Before connecting any type of pneumatic tool, check if the air
outlet pressure of the compressor does not exceed the working pressure of the
pneumatic tool.
