In its final position, ensure that there is a clearance of 60 mm between the unit and the
back wall, 30 mm from the sides, and 500 mm from the ceiling.
If the appliance is on wheels, ensure it is on a flat surface. At start-up, make sure that
there is no heat source nearby.
For optimum operation of the refrigeration system components, ensure that the air
intakes to the fan inside the cabinet and the condenser are not clogged or obstructed.
Do not install the unit outdoors.
Do not push anything through the protection grills of the fan or refrigeration unit area
10.3.3 Product loading
It is recommended to distribute the sausages in such a way that the pieces do not
overlap. There must be a space between pieces to facilitate the passage of air. An
adequate air circulation contributes to the correct and uniform drying process in each
piece.
10.3.4 Electrical connection
The appliance must only be connected to the power supply by an AUTHORISED
TECHNICIAN.
Follow your country's legal regulations regarding mains electrical connections.
Failure to comply with the manufacturer's specifications or improper installation exempts the
manufacturer from liability and responsibility for personal injury or material damage to the
appliance.
The appliance's electrical characteristics are listed on the data plate.
• Check that the mains voltage and frequency match those stated on
the data plate.
• The mains supply to the cabinet must have an EARTH CONNECTION
and the proper circuit breaker and differential protection.
• Check that the cross-section of the power supply cable is adequate
for the expected load.
• The power socket must be Schuko type, as the plug on the appliance
cable is of that type (also called type F or CEE 7/4), with 4.8 mm pins
and earth. For safety reasons, do not use an extension lead. A
different plug suitable for the destination country can be fitted on
request, provided that the plug can withstand the appliance's
amperage and local electrical legislation allows it.
• If you detect any faults in the appliance installation, inform your
supplier immediately.
• Do not install the equipment outdoors.
• In case of fire, do not use water. Use CO2 (carbon dioxide)
extinguishers and cool the motor area as quickly as possible.
