Assembly instructions and
user manual
Carefully read through the
complete assembly instruc-
tions and user manual, par-
ticularly the safety instructions. Failure to
heed these safety instructions may result
in injury or damage to the granite slab.
Hold onto the assembly instructions and
user manual for future reference or in or-
der to pass it on to third parties.
Your safety
Please observe the following
safety instructions. The manu-
facturer is not liable for damage
as the result of failure to comply.
The granite slab is not a children's toy.
Children could crush their fingers or feet.
The granite slab is very heavy. Make
sure that the locking brakes are always
engaged when the granite slab is not to
be moved.
Keep in mind that, depending on wind in-
tensity and diameter of the sun shade,
this granite slab may also be too "light".
Make sure that the sun shade is closed
in the event of incoming wind.
Proper use
Depending on the model, the granite slab
is suitable as a stand for sun shades with
a maximum diameter of 400 cm and for
stand tubes with hole spacing of 12 cm.
The granite slab is only intended for pri-
vate use. It is not suitable for commer-
cial use.
Before you use the granite slab, please
first carefully read through the safety in-
structions. Only in this way, will you be
able to use the granite slab in a safe and
reliable manner.
It is imperative that you observe the na-
tional regulations in force in your country

which also apply in addition to the regu-
lations in this assembly instructions and
user manual.
Preparing the granite slab
Please note!
– The granite slab is very heavy. Make
sure that the locking brakes 1 are al-
ways engaged during preparations
(see Figure A and K).
You will need:
– a size 17 open-ended spanner.
1. Loosen the nuts 2 with the size 17
open-ended spanner and remove
them together with the snap rings 3
and washers 4(see Figure B and C).
2. Place the shade mast 5 on the gran-
ite slab so that the threaded bolts 6
go through the holes 7 (see Figure D).
3. Put the washers 4 and snap rings 3
in place; put the nuts 2 on the thread-
ed bolts 6 and tighten them with the
size 17 open-ended spanner (see Fig-
ure E and F).
Changing the location
Please note:
– If you would like to bring the granite
slab to another location, a sun shade
or stand tube must not be mounted on
it (see Figure I).
– The granite slab is very heavy. It is
imperative that you have 2 to 3 per-
sons assist you with this.
1. Release all locking brakes 1 by mov-
ing them into a horizontal position so
that they lock into place with an audi-
ble CLICK! (see Figure G).
2. Move the granite slab to the desired
location (see figure H).
3. At the desired location, move all the
locking brakes 1 back to a vertical po-
sition until they lock in place with an
audible CLICK! (see Figure K and L).
